Privacy policy

How DroneOptik360 collects, uses, protects and retains your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Last updated: October 30, 2026. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Person in charge of protecting personal information

Jean-François LeBlanc, co-founder, is responsible for the protection of personal information at DroneOptik360. You can reach him at info@droneoptik360.com or 819-955-7400.

2. Information we collect

Through the quote form or by email: your name, organization, contact details, the address of the site and a description of your needs. During a project: images and data captured on the agreed site.

3. Purposes

  • Responding to your request and preparing a quote;
  • Planning and carrying out the project, including flight authorization steps;
  • Producing and delivering the deliverables;
  • Meeting our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for other purposes without your consent, and we never sell it.

4. Cookies and tracking tools

This site uses no advertising cookies and no audience analytics tools. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no browsing data is sent to third parties when you visit. Our web host keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page viewed) to secure the service.

5. Images captured by drone

We limit capture to the project area, avoid capturing identifiable people and, when that happens anyway, blur or remove those images from public deliverables. No client image is published without written permission.

6. Disclosure to third parties

Your information may be disclosed, when necessary, to NAV CANADA or Transport Canada for a flight authorization, and to our technical providers (web hosting, email), who are required to protect it. Some providers may store data outside Quebec; in that case we carry out a privacy impact assessment as required by law.

7. Retention and security

Requests that do not lead to a project are deleted after 24 months. Project files are kept as long as needed for their purposes and our legal obligations. We apply appropriate security measures: encrypted transfers, access control and multi-factor authentication on our accounts.

8. Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion by writing to info@droneoptik360.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Confidentiality incidents

If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information, and we keep a register of incidents.
