Who it's for

See without climbing

Getting onto a roof takes time, requires equipment and carries a real fall risk. A drone documents the whole roof quickly, then returns for close-ups of the areas that matter.

  • Flat and sloped roofs, flashing, drains, parapets and chimneys
  • Facades, cornices, cladding and high openings
  • Before-and-after documentation of roofing work
  • Records for insurance, asset management or tenders
How it works

One visit, a complete view

We start with an overview, then fly systematic passes and close-up views. Each observation is tied to its location on the overview so you and your roofer know exactly where to look.

Combined with a thermal inspection, the same visit can also flag areas likely to hold moisture.

Limits

What you should know

  • A drone documents visible signs; it does not lift the membrane or measure moisture.
  • This is not a pre-purchase home inspection or an engineering opinion.
  • Rain, snow or strong wind can postpone the flight.
  • Flights near people and in dense areas are subject to strict rules.
Equipment

Matrice 300 RTK, XT2 and light drones

For commercial buildings we use the Matrice 300 RTK with the Zenmuse XT2 4K visible camera, or the 45 MP Zenmuse P1 when fine detail matters. For a house or small building, a light drone may be enough and keep costs down.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does a drone roof inspection take?

For most buildings, capture takes 20 to 60 minutes on site, plus preparation. The report follows within the agreed timeline.

Do you need access inside the building?

No, not for an aerial inspection. We only need safe access to the site for take-off and landing.

Can you inspect a single-family home?

Yes, depending on location and airspace. In dense neighbourhoods, we assess distances from neighbours and passers-by before confirming.
